02Data processed
Browsing data: the systems that run the site record, in normal operation, some technical data sent by the browser (IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, outcome, browser type and operating system). This data is needed for the operation and security of the site and is not used to identify the visitor.
Data provided voluntarily: by filling in the contact form, or by writing an e-mail or calling, you communicate the data you enter (name, company, e-mail, phone and the content of the request).
The site does not require registration and does not process special categories of data.
03Purposes and legal basis
- Answering requests for information, demonstrations or quotations: the processing is necessary to follow up the data subject's request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Running the site and protecting it from abuse and unauthorised access: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Complying with legal obligations, for example at the request of an authority: Art. 6(1)(c).
The data is not used to send unsolicited commercial communications or to profile the visitor.
04Fonts and external services
The site's fonts are hosted on the site's own servers. When browsing the pages, the browser connects to no third-party service: no fonts, scripts, maps or videos are loaded from other servers, so no IP address is transmitted to third parties.
05Recipients of the data
The data is processed by EDG Sistemi srl staff authorised and instructed to do so. It may be accessed by the provider hosting the site and the e-mail, appointed as processor under Art. 28 GDPR, and by the company's advisers bound by confidentiality.
The data is not disclosed, sold or transferred to third parties for their own purposes.
06Transfers outside the European Union
The data is stored on servers in the European Union and is not transferred outside the Union. Should a service involve a transfer in the future, it will take place with the safeguards of Chapter V of the GDPR and will be stated in this notice.
07Retention
- Browsing data: at most twelve months, unless needed to investigate offences or abuse.
- Contact requests: for the time needed to reply and, if a business relationship follows, for its duration and for the legal obligations that follow; requests with no follow-up are deleted within twenty-four months of the last contact.
08Rights of the data subject
At any time you can ask the controller for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). Just write to commerciale@edgsistemi.it: the reply arrives within one month.
Anyone who believes the processing breaches the law may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the authority of their own country.
09Nature of the provision
Providing the data is optional. Without the data required by the form (name, e-mail and content of the request), however, it is not possible to reply.
10Automated decisions
No processing involves automated decision-making or profiling under Art. 22 GDPR.
11Artificial intelligence
This website does not use artificial intelligence on visitors' data: the pages, the contact form and the shop send nothing to artificial intelligence services.
The programs by EDG Sistemi srl that integrate the assistant (Help and Report) are installed at the customer's premises. When an operator uses the assistant, the question and the data needed for the answer are sent to the artificial intelligence service (Claude, by Anthropic) with the customer's key, according to the settings decided by the customer. This processing takes place in the customer's program, not on this website.
12Changes to this notice
The notice may be updated, for example if the services used by the site change. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the date of the last update (27 September 2026).
